About the Role
The Auto Adjuster role at Allstate is a unique opportunity for insurance professionals to work remotely and handle advanced automobile accident claims. As part of the National General team, adjusters will be responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss, determining coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiating claims within their limit of authority. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance policies, industry regulations, and organizational relationships within the company.The ideal candidate will have experience in handling auto claims, with a focus on customer service, claims resolution, and negotiation. The ability to work independently and effectively communicate with customers remotely is essential. As a fully remote position, adjusters will be required to work a 12:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. EST schedule, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

What You Will Do
- Investigate and confirm the facts of loss for advanced automobile accidents
- Determine coverage, liability, and damages for claims
- Negotiate claims within your limit of authority
- Apply advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company
- Handle investigation regarding all aspects of advanced auto claims
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims
- Recognize and identify body parts of a vehicle and understand other potential property damage
- Identify customer needs and work to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential and handle accordingly
- Apply increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in handling auto claims
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, industry regulations, and organizational relationships
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with customers remotely
- Proficiency in Excel and other software applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Insurance licenses or certifications (e.g., CPCU, AIC) a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Familiarity with claims handling software and systems
- Knowledge of industry trends and developments in auto insurance
