About the Role

As an Aviation Architect Senior Project Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client value through innovative thinking and cutting-edge technology. Your expertise in design, construction management, and client relationship building will be essential in driving business growth and expanding Woolpert's footprint in the aviation industry. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about their work and committed to building the next generation of industry leaders.

The role involves advising clients on the design, repair, refurbishment, relocation, and installation of vertical airside facilities, as well as supporting funding applications. You will build relationships with the FAA, airports, and other clients to enhance Woolpert's capabilities and recognize opportunities for problem-solving. Your solid construction management background will be instrumental in assisting with the vertical construction of these facilities.

You will be working closely with the Aviation National Practice Lead and dedicated aviation staff to deliver practice goals. This includes developing scope and fees, providing quality reviews of project documentation, and staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.

What You Will Do

  • Provide client airports with support on the design, repair, refurbishment, relocation, and installation of vertical airside structures
  • Build relationships with the FAA, Airport, and other clients to enhance Woolpert's capabilities
  • Assist with the vertical construction of facilities
  • Support architecture and engineering leads in delivering a successful project
  • Work with staff to create solutions for airport clients
  • Develop scope and fees and provide quality reviews of project documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements
  • Collaborate closely with the Aviation National Practice Lead and dedicated aviation staff
  • Assist in business growth of Aviation services at airports
  • Drive partnerships with other consultants in the aviation industry

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 7+ years of related work experience
  • Strong background in construction management
  • Solid understanding of airfield infrastructure
  • Excellent client relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Excel and other relevant software
