Job Description

About the Role

The Azure DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting Keywords Studios' Azure services and regional teams, working on a variety of projects from traditional on-premises to cloud-based architectures. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies, including Azure Windows Desktop Services, Mobile Device Management, and Azure migration. With a strong focus on cloud-first initiatives, the successful candidate will be expected to drive projects forward and continually learn and adapt to new challenges.

The role will involve working closely with regional teams to provide technical support and guidance, as well as collaborating with other engineers to share knowledge and best practices. What You Will Do

  • Administer and manage growing hybrid and pure cloud solutions
  • Plan, deploy, and support Azure Windows Desktop Services (WDS) implementations
  • Manage Mobile Device Management - InTune policy management
  • Migrate services from on-premises to Azure Platform, including Microsoft SQL
  • Build, deploy, and support technologies for an Azure platform
  • Automate Azure infrastructure using scripting and automation tools
  • Support Azure Architecture (IaaS & PaaS)
  • Use ARM and PowerShell Scripting with a GIT repository
  • Manage Azure tenancy and subscription management
  • Create auto-remediate scripting for cloud resources
  • Demonstrate optimization techniques and strategy
  • Create YAML pipelines with Azure DevOps
  • Enforce security policies to CIS standards
  • Assist regional teams in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions
  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions, including materials, mockups, and time necessary
  • Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, such as Cloud Engineer, IT Administrator, or Systems Engineer
  • Strong understanding of the Azure and Office 365 ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience with ARM Templates, JSON, and PowerShell Scripting
  • Experience with Azure data protection and security architecture/features
  • Azure Administrator certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-303, AZ-304)
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery and High Availability technologies
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, and Azure server-less architecture
  • Experience managing Amazon AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (an advantage)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with containerization technologies
  • Knowledge of Azure CLI and SCCM/SCOM
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
