## About the Role As a B2B Marketing Lead at Openai, you will play a critical role in driving the company's enterprise and B2B marketing strategy across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a full-stack marketing position that requires a deep understanding of the APAC market, including its diverse cultures, languages, and business environments. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated B2B marketing initiatives that support enterprise adoption, partner-led growth, and developer-adjacent business audiences.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, with a proven track record of building and executing marketing programs that drive revenue growth and long-term trust. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, partnerships, product marketing, and communications, to deliver high-impact programs that meet the company's regional goals.
As a key member of the marketing team, you will be expected to bring a high level of strategic thinking, creativity, and collaboration to the role. You will be responsible for translating global marketing strategies into locally effective execution, taking into account the unique characteristics of each APAC market.
## What You Will Do - Lead the development and execution of APAC B2B marketing strategy, aligned with global priorities and regional GTM objectives - Drive full-funnel B2B marketing programs across field, content, customer marketing, events, and partner marketing - Partner closely with GTM, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Comms, and Global Affairs to deliver integrated programs that support enterprise adoption and pipeline growth - Translate global B2B narratives and launches into regionally relevant, market-specific execution across priority APAC markets - Establish strong regional marketing operating rhythms, including planning cycles, agency management, budget oversight, performance measurement, and reporting - Act as the regional voice for APAC B2B marketing, bringing market insight, customer perspective, and local nuance into global strategy discussions - Build and scale foundational B2B marketing capabilities in-region, with an eye toward future team growth and specialization - Develop and manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring effective ROI and resource allocation - Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams to develop and execute account-based marketing strategies - Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies and optimize program performance
## What We Are Looking For - 10+ years of experience in B2B or integrated marketing, ideally within technology, platforms, or high-growth environments - Proven track record of building and executing B2B marketing programs that support enterprise or partner-led GTM motions across multiple markets or regions - Strong understanding of APAC enterprise buying dynamics, including the role of trust, regulation, partners, and local proof points - Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels in fast-moving, ambiguous environments - Experience working closely with Sales, GTM, Partnerships, Product Marketing, and Comms teams in a matrixed organization - Excellent communicator and collaborator, with strong stakeholder management and influence skills across cultures and geographies - Experience managing teams, agencies, vendors, and regional partners across APAC - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform marketing strategies - Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics tools
