About the Role
The B2B Marketing Lead role at OpenAI is a critical position that requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, marketing expertise, and cultural understanding. As a key member of the Korea team, you will be responsible for driving OpenAI's enterprise and B2B marketing execution in Korea, working closely with local Country/GTM teams, regional marketing support, and external partners. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute integrated B2B marketing initiatives that support enterprise adoption, partner-led growth, and long-term customer trust in Korea.The role requires a deep understanding of Korea's enterprise buying dynamics, including the role of trust, regulation, partners, executive relationships, and local proof points. You will need to be able to navigate complex stakeholder environments, translate global and regional strategies into locally effective execution, and build strong relationships with local partners and customers.

What You Will Do
- Lead the development and execution of Korea B2B marketing plans, aligned with global priorities, regional marketing support, and Korea Country/GTM objectives.
- Drive full-funnel B2B marketing programs across local customer events, field marketing, content, customer marketing, developer marketing, and partner marketing.
- Partner closely with Korea Country/GTM, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Comms, Events, regional marketing, and external partners to deliver integrated programs that support enterprise adoption and pipeline growth.
- Translate global B2B narratives and launches into Korea-relevant campaigns, local customer events, customer proof, content, and sales enablement.
- Establish strong Korea marketing operating rhythms, including planning cycles, event execution, agency/vendor management, budget oversight, performance measurement, and reporting.
- Act as the Korea voice for B2B marketing, bringing market insight, customer perspective, and local nuance into regional and global strategy discussions.
- Build and scale foundational B2B marketing capabilities in Korea, while using regional marketing support for shared programs, assets, operating practices, and scalable execution.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Korea's enterprise market, including key trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute account-based marketing strategies that drive engagement and conversion.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally within technology, platforms, or high-growth environments.
- Proven track record of building and executing B2B marketing programs that support enterprise, developer, or partner-led GTM motions in Korea or similarly complex markets.
- Strong understanding of Korea enterprise buying dynamics, including the role of trust, regulation, partners, executive relationships, and local proof points.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Experience working closely with Sales, GTM, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Comms, Events, regional marketing, and external partners in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, with native Korean and business-level English proficiency and strong stakeholder management and influence skills across Korea Country/GTM, regional marketing, and global teams.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, local customer events, field programs, and regional marketing partners preferred.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to measure and optimize marketing programs.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing AI, developer, or highly technical products.
- Familiarity with trust-sensitive enterprise environments.
- Prior experience leading Korea field marketing, customer events, enterprise demand generation, developer marketing, or country-level B2B marketing scopes.
- Knowledge of Korean market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Experience with content marketing, including creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience.
