Job Description

About the Role

Nextcloud is seeking a skilled Back-end Engineer to join their integrations team. The successful candidate will work on integrating AI services and models, developing new features, and improving the server back-end.

Responsibilities

  • Feature development
  • Integration of AI services and models using Python, APIs, and microservices
  • Database design and systems design
  • Quality assurance and project-based development

Requirements

  • Technical experience with PHP and HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with Python for AI/ML integrations
  • Familiarity with one or more frontend frameworks like VueJS, React, or Angular
  • Understanding of REST APIs and REST-based AI services
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and model deployment workflows
