## What You Will Do - Design, build, and maintain scalable bank integration infrastructure to support Stripe's financial connections platform.

• Lead large technical projects, translating business goals into clear technical requirements and executing them effectively.
• Work across the stack to create intelligent systems that adapt to the availability of banking partners.
• Collaborate with engineers across the company to deliver comprehensive and reliable access to trustworthy banking data.
• Align the tech stack with Stripe's broad strategic initiatives while advocating for the needs of emerging new businesses.
• Balance the tradeoffs between short-term requirements and long-term roadmaps, considering business priorities, user experience, and sustainable technical foundations.
• Mentor and collaborate with other engineers and managers to grow the next generation of leaders at Stripe.
• Participate in the development of the platform's architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
• Engage with banking partners and financial institutions to understand their needs and integrate their systems with Stripe's platform.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, suggesting innovations and improvements to tools and methodologies.

## What We Are Looking For - Strong technical background, including 3+ years of experience designing and engineering large-scale systems.

• Experience working on new products under fluid conditions, balancing tactical and strategic considerations seamlessly.
• Track record of leading and shipping complex cross-team projects end-to-end, from scoping and design through production and operations.
• Ability to measure success in terms of business impact, not lines of code, with a focus on delivering value to users and the company.
