What You Will Do

  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to the company's high standards
  • Prepare special orders, including custom cakes and desserts
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Organize and maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients
  • Prepare meals and other food items as needed
  • Collaborate with the rest of the bakery team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Trades certificate or diploma in baking, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic
