About the Role
The Base Senior Product Manager, Privacy role at Coinbase is a critical position that will lead the development of onchain privacy primitives. As a key member of the Base team, you will be responsible for managing the Privacy Platform product and team, defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Your work will enable developers to build the best onchain experiences, and you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the onchain economy.The role entails working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Legal, and Product, to drive the development of privacy primitives. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and scaling. Your ability to take highly ambiguous, technical problems and turn them into a clear, prioritized roadmap will be essential to your success in this role.
What You Will Do
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Base Privacy Platform
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and scaling
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the onchain ecosystem and the needs of developers building onchain experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of privacy primitives
- Manage stakeholders across Engineering, Legal, and Product
- Solve hard problems as part of a team and drive outcomes
- Use generative AI tools and copilots to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality
- Participate in in-person offsites and team-wide meetings to foster collaboration and connection
What We Are Looking For
- Proven track record of shipping complex platform or infrastructure products
- Experience building products for developers (APIs, SDKs, or infrastructure) and a passion for creating world-class developer experiences
- Ability to take highly ambiguous, technical problems and turn them into a clear, prioritized roadmap
- Strong self-starter with extreme ownership of outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different teams
- Experience with Excel and other productivity tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Knowledge of privacy regulations and laws
