About the Role

As part of this role, the successful candidate will work closely with the functional team to maintain and update documentation of batch processes. This includes ensuring that documentation meets defined standards and contains all necessary information. The batch team is also responsible for developing and performing batch proactive maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Control-M and a working knowledge of java and Unix scripting. They will be able to analyze results, maintain utilities, and develop batch session follow-up definitions.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain batch processes planning using Control-M, Autosys, and UC4 systems
• Collaborate with the functional team to maintain and update batch process documentation
• Ensure documentation meets defined standards and contains all necessary information
• Develop and perform batch proactive maintenance tasks to guarantee the health of the batch service
• Define monitoring tasks and procedures for the operation team to monitor batch sessions
• Analyze results and maintain utilities developed in java and Unix scripting
• Develop batch session follow-up definitions
• Work with the batch team to ensure consistency and integrity of batch planning
• Utilize Control-M scheduler to execute functional programs and planning support utilities
• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of batch planning systems and their components

What We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in batch processing and scheduling
• Solid understanding of Control-M, Autosys, and UC4 systems
• Working knowledge of java and Unix scripting
• Excellent English language skills, with a minimum C1 level
• Ability to analyze results and maintain utilities
• Experience in developing batch session follow-up definitions
• Knowledge of batch proactive maintenance tasks and monitoring procedures
• Strong understanding of digital skills and remote work principles
• Ability to work collaboratively with the functional team

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar role, with a focus on batch processing and scheduling
• Knowledge of Autosys, although not required for this role
• Certification in Control-M or other batch processing systems
• Experience working in a remote or agile work environment
• Familiarity with digital transformation principles and the importance of proactive maintenance
