About the Role

The BDR Team Lead position at Posthog is a pivotal role that will drive the company's sales and growth efforts. What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Development Representatives, focusing on sales strategy, performance optimization, and team development.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy that aligns with Posthog's product roadmap and growth ambitions.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to analyze sales performance, identify trends, and implement data-driven decisions to enhance sales outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement and growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, autonomy, and accountability within the BDR team, promoting Posthog's values and work ethic.
  • Manage and optimize sales metrics, such as conversion rates, sales qualified leads, and sales-qualified opportunities, to measure team performance and growth.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the BDR team, ensuring they are equipped to meet evolving sales demands.
  • Represent Posthog in industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment, with a strong background in GTM strategies and team management.
  • Expertise in Salesforce and other CRM tools, with the ability to analyze data, identify insights, and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics, including conversion rates, sales qualified leads, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies that support the sales process.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a focus on sales, marketing, or business development.
