Job Description

About the Role

As a Bi-Lingual Registered Dietitian at Salvo Health, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care centered around lifestyle change management. This involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including fellow registered dietitians, licensed nurses, and medical specialists, to support patients with chronic health conditions. Your expertise in nutrition and behavioral change will be essential in helping patients achieve their health goals and manage their conditions effectively.

The role entails a mix of synchronous and asynchronous care, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to enhance behavioral change. You will work with patients to develop personalized plans, provide ongoing support, and monitor progress. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and the care team will be crucial in ensuring seamless care delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver exceptional care centered around lifestyle change management, including nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep, and behavioral change
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including registered dietitians, licensed nurses, and medical specialists
  • Support patients with both synchronous and asynchronous care, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques
  • Develop personalized plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and health goals
  • Provide ongoing support and monitoring to patients, making adjustments to care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients and the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in nutrition and behavioral change
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery

What We Are Looking For

  • RD/RDN certification
  • Multiple state licensure (a plus)
  • 2+ years of experience as a registered dietitian
  • Working knowledge of nutritional approaches for GI conditions (IBS, IBD, SIBO) (a plus)
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) (a plus)
  • Experience communicating with patients asynchronously (preferred)
  • Passion for working with clients to facilitate behavior change and manage chronic disease
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs)
  • Familiarity with remote patient monitoring (RPM) and app-based care
  • Certification in motivational interviewing or behavioral change
