About the Role

The Bilingual Account Manager will play a key role in RELX's Account Management team, strategically managing and nurturing key client accounts to drive business growth. This role involves developing and implementing strategic account plans, building and maintaining enduring client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products or services. As a leader in the team, the Bilingual Account Manager will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior account management professionals.

As a Bilingual Account Manager at RELX, you will be working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly. You will also be collaborating with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that client needs are met and exceeded.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and industry trends within the Account Management function. They will also possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve targets.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand business opportunities
  • Build and maintain enduring, long-term client relationships through regular communication and effective account management practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products or services to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior account management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs, preferences, and pain points
  • Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and pitches to clients
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the agreement
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, including sales data and market trends

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large key accounts in a similar professional role
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve targets
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and industry trends within the Account Management function
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to junior account management professionals
  • Relevant background in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Solid grasp of financial principles, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage client accounts efficiently
  • Fluency in both English and French

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the legal or professional services industry
  • Knowledge of Adjust and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights
  • Certification in account management or a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
