What You Will Do
- Provide teletherapy sessions to K-12 students in Georgia school districts, focusing on evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with school counselors, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in case consultations to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of clinical programs aimed at supporting the mental health needs of school-aged youth and their families.
- Utilize telehealth platforms and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to deliver and document care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills in areas such as CBT, DBT, and other relevant therapeutic modalities.
- Work closely with the Daybreak Health team to ensure that services are culturally responsive and meet the unique needs of bilingual students and their families.
- Available to work Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings, with potential weekend slots.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions to discuss caseload, strategies, and professional growth.
What We Are Looking For
- Active APC (Associate Professional Counselor) license in the state of Georgia.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Experience or a strong interest in working with school-aged youth and families.
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and EHR systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining regular communication with the team.
- Commitment to cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT is preferred but not required.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes afternoons, evenings, and potentially weekends.
