About the Role
The Billing Operations Analyst II role at Twilio is a critical position that entails working closely with the billing operations management team to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of billing operations. This involves implementing customer pricing, reviewing contracts, and managing billing projects. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all billing operations are carried out efficiently and effectively, providing excellent support to both internal and external stakeholders.The role is based in India and will require periodic weekend work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing operations, with a solid understanding of revenue management and order-to-cash processes. They will also be an advanced Excel user, with experience working with large volumes of data and a keen eye for detail.
What You Will Do
- Implement customer pricing and review contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage billing projects from start to finish, working closely with the billing operations management team
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of billing operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing-related issues and provide support as needed
- Work with external partners to ensure smooth billing operations and resolve any discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to the management team as needed
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key billing metrics, providing insights to the management team
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve billing operations
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience in billing operations, revenue management, or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience working with large volumes of data
- Experience working with Salesforce, or a similar CRM system
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Third-level qualification in accountancy, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
