About the Role

The Billing Operations Manager at Elevenlabs plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of billing operations across hundreds of enterprise accounts. This role is at the intersection of sales, customer success, finance, and engineering, making it a challenging and rewarding position for those who enjoy navigating complex systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full billing lifecycle, from provisioning new customers to managing churned accounts, all while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Day-to-day, the Billing Operations Manager will work closely with the sales team to translate closed-won deals into correctly configured subscriptions, partner with engineering to automate processes, and collaborate with finance to resolve discrepancies. This role requires a deep understanding of billing platforms such as Stripe, as well as proficiency in Salesforce and Excel.

What You Will Do

  • Translate closed-won deals from Salesforce into correctly configured subscriptions in billing platforms
  • Own the reconciliation between executed order forms and provisioning requests
  • Partner with Engineering to identify automation opportunities and build guardrails for faster provisioning
  • Manage the full billing lifecycle of enterprise accounts
  • Resolve discrepancies before they become revenue problems
  • Catch configuration drift before it impacts billing
  • Build processes to make billing invisible to other teams
  • Work with Sales and Legal to resolve gaps in provisioning requests
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth customer onboarding
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of billing processes
