What You Will Do

• Evaluate disability claims by reviewing medical records and providing expert opinions on the claimant's condition and ability to work.
• Conduct thorough analyses of medical evidence to determine the severity of the claimant's condition and its impact on their ability to perform work-related activities.
• Provide advisory-only opinions, as no doctor-patient relationship is established, and no treatment is provided.
• Utilize digital skills to navigate the work portal, manage caseload, and communicate with the Dane Street team.
• Stay updated with the latest medical research and guidelines in endocrinology to ensure accurate and informed reviews.
• Collaborate with the Dane Street team to resolve any queries or concerns related to the review process.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy guidelines when handling sensitive medical information.
• Participate in initial training and ongoing support to ensure familiarity with the review process and the work portal.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the review process by providing feedback and suggestions.

What We Are Looking For

• Board Certification in Endocrinology.
• Current, unrestricted medical license.
• Experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews is preferred but not essential.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate complex medical information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise opinions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Familiarity with digital tools and platforms, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
