About the Role

What You Will Do

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of disability claims, applying your knowledge of sleep medicine and relevant guidelines.
• Evaluate medical records and other documentation to inform your decisions.
• Provide clear, well-reasoned opinions on the basis of your reviews.
• Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure a high level of productivity.
• Utilize Dane Street's online platform for reviewing cases and submitting your findings.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in sleep medicine and peer review best practices.
• Communicate effectively with the Dane Street team as needed.
• Ensure all reviews are completed within the specified turnaround time, typically 3-5 business days.
• Participate in initial training and ongoing professional development opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

• Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
• Current, unrestricted medical license.
• At least 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• Experience in conducting disability peer reviews is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital platforms and tools for reviewing and managing cases.
• Commitment to staying current with medical knowledge and guidelines relevant to sleep medicine and disability evaluations.
