About the Role

The Bodily Injury Adjuster position at Allstate is a critical role that involves investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. What You Will Do

  • Investigate complex automobile accidents to determine coverage, liability, and damages

  • Apply advanced understanding of insurance policies, industry practices, and organizational relationships within the company
  • Handle investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims with discretion and independence
  • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and handle complex cases accordingly
  • Recognize and identify body parts of a vehicle and understand other potential property damage
  • Identify customer needs and meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
  • Evaluate and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims
  • Conduct coverage investigations and apply knowledge of insurance policies and industry practices

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in handling attorney-represented bodily injury claims
  • Strong background in managing and negotiating complex claims
  • Advanced understanding of insurance policies, including coverage analysis and liability determination
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills to handle complex claims
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within the established authority
  • Strong customer service skills to meet customer needs effectively
  • Experience with auto insurance claims, ideally with a focus on bodily injury claims
  • Knowledge of general liability insurance and umbrella liability insurance
  • Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
