About the Role

The Bookkeeper position at Any Where Talent is a part-time opportunity for a skilled financial professional to manage daily accounting and financial tasks for an established business transitioning into a new venture. As a key member of the finance team, the successful candidate will provide light administrative support and ensure all financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date. What You Will Do

  • Manage daily accounting and financial tasks, including reconciliations, debits, credits, and general bookkeeping activities
  • Support the finance team in developing accurate financial forecasts and projections
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and support business operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies with accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure all financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date
  • Contribute to the annual and periodic budgeting process
  • Provide light administrative support as needed
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports
  • Stay up to date with changes in accounting principles and practices

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
  • Experience in property management accounting, including rent collections, tenant billing, owner reporting, and expense tracking
  • Previous leadership or management experience, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and coordinate team members
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or management experience overseeing accounting, finance, or operations teams

  • Experience with property management software (AppFolio)
  • Experience with phone systems (Nextiva)
  • Proficiency in Adobe for documentation/design
