About the Role

The BPO Sales Director will play a critical role in driving business growth for NTT DATA's Agentic AI Customer Service business. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for originating and closing large, complex BPO deals in the insurance sector. Your expertise in understanding the core value chain processes and associated challenges will enable you to develop customized transformative BPO propositions that meet the unique needs of prospective clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in BPO sales, with a deep understanding of the insurance industry. You will be adept at creating demand in the market, establishing relationships with decision-making buyers, and positioning AI-first BPO solutions that drive business transformation. Your ability to think strategically, navigate complex sales cycles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in this role.

You will work closely with solution architects, pricing teams, legal, operations, and other stakeholders to structure competitive deals that meet the needs of both NTT DATA and its clients. What You Will Do

  • Originate and close large, complex BPO deals in the insurance sector
  • Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan to create market awareness and demand
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with prospective decision-makers and stakeholder influencers
  • Collaborate with solution architects, pricing teams, legal, operations, and other stakeholders to structure competitive deals
  • Stay current on industry and AI/technology trends, competitive positioning, and emerging technologies relevant to BPO and digital operations
  • Serve as a thought leader in the market and contribute to brand elevation via participation in industry forums, panels, and client advisory boards
  • Utilize a consultative approach to understand the unique challenges, dynamics, constraints, and goals of prospect organizations
  • Develop customized transformative BPO propositions that meet the unique needs of prospective clients
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial prospect engagement through contract negotiation and closure
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the insurance industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities for transformation

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in BPO/Business Process Services sales
  • 7+ years of experience in demonstrated success having sold large, complex, global BPO deals
  • 5+ years of recent industry experience selling Transformative Customer Experience/Customer Service and Industry Specific Core value chain deals
  • Deep understanding of transformative outsourcing models and the ability to structure complex deal constructs
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze financial data
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to bridge business value with enabling technologies such as AI, analytics, and automation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate matrixed environments and influence cross-functional teams
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and contributing to revenue growth
