What You Will Do

• Ensure all buses are detailed to a high standard, including interior and exterior cleaning, and presentation.
• Utilize Excel for reporting and tracking maintenance tasks and schedules.
• Conduct regular quality checks on the fleet to identify and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all buses are roadworthy and meet company standards.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the fleet, including vehicle specifications and maintenance requirements.
• Implement efficient detailing processes to minimize downtime and optimize the usage of resources.
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in vehicle detailing.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of detailing processes and procedures.
• Engage with other teams, such as operations and customer service, to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.

What We Are Looking For

• A current open Driver's Licence (MR class preferable) to facilitate the movement of buses as required.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and presentation.
• Experience in a detailing or maintenance role, preferably in the transport industry.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools for reporting and data management.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks associated with detailing and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
• Commitment to safety, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures to minimize risk.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with large fleets or in the public transport sector.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics, to facilitate a deeper understanding of maintenance requirements.
• Experience with detailing or maintenance software, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Certifications in vehicle detailing or a related field, demonstrating a high level of competency.
