About the Role

The Business Analyst role at Tort Experts is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team that is redefining the landscape of performance marketing in the legal sector. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for owning reporting, reconciliation, and proactive analysis across lead sources, campaigns, and the intake funnel. Your primary goal will be to ensure accuracy in lead counts, marketing spend, and conversion data, while surfacing performance insights and creating scalable reporting solutions that empower the entire team.

The ideal candidate will be mid-level, highly analytical, and able to take full ownership of results with minimal oversight. You will be adept at spotting trends across paid media and intake performance, building actionable reports, and anticipating issues before they become problems. Over time, this role may evolve into a company-wide business analyst position, with broader responsibility for insights and reporting across teams.

What You Will Do

  • Own the process of reconciling lead counts and spend between ad platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok), call tracking, and our intake/CRM systems (Litify, Salesforce)
  • Deliver accurate, stakeholder-ready reports on lead volume, cost per lead (CPL), cost per acquisition (CPA), and intake funnel performance
  • Continuously improve report templates and workflows to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Establish and monitor baseline performance metrics for call center KPIs, including connection rates, speed-to-lead, time-to-answer, agent conversion, turn-down and rejection patterns, and no-undialed-lead compliance
  • Build proactive alerts and reports to surface deviations and issues before they become problems
  • Monitor conversion rates, lead quality, and profitability by channel, campaign, lead type, and field values to proactively spot risks and opportunities
  • Provide insights into campaign and channel profitability, bid/pricing effectiveness, attribution accuracy, and lead monetization trends
  • Develop frameworks for analyzing trends that can be reused across campaigns, channels, and case types
  • Ensure all reconciliations, reallocations, and reports are error-free and backed by clear data sources across ad platforms, call tracking, and intake/CRM systems

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, marketing operations, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads, as well as HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to build complex spreadsheets and reports
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results with minimal oversight
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all work products
  • Experience with data visualization tools and reporting software, such as Tableau or Power BI

Nice to Have

  • Experience with call tracking and intake/CRM systems, such as Litify or Salesforce
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo or Pardot
  • Certification in Google Ads, Meta Ads, or HubSpot
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management, with the ability to write complex queries and analyze large datasets
