About the Role

The Business Data Analyst role at VivSoft Technologies is a crucial part of the company's mission to drive digital transformation through cutting-edge technologies. As a detail-oriented and proactive individual, you will support documentation, analysis, and administrative functions across various business systems. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve collecting and organizing information for user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports. You will work closely with a diverse team of strategists, engineers, and designers to build mission-focused, scalable solutions. Your expertise in Excel will be essential in assembling technical documents and performing financial and administrative tasks.

As part of the VivSoft team, you will be expected to maintain a current internal documentation library and coordinate special documentation services as needed. Your analytical skills will be valuable in providing detailed analysis of various business system functions and supporting technical documentation efforts.

What You Will Do

  • Collect and organize information for the preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
  • Edit and maintain functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, and other customer deliverables
  • Support financial and administrative tasks related to business systems
  • Prepare and maintain systems, programming, and operations documentation under general supervision
  • Maintain a current internal documentation library and coordinate special documentation services as needed
  • Provide detailed analysis of various business system functions and support technical documentation efforts
  • Work with the Department of Defense (DoD) lifecycle management frameworks
  • Assemble technical documents and perform financial and administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with the team to build mission-focused, scalable solutions
  • Participate in the development of high-impact federal proposals

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar documentation and analysis tasks
  • Specialized experience in assembling technical documents and analyzing business system functions
  • Experience in working with DOD Lifecycle management, DOD 5000.1, 5000.2, DODI 5000.02, and Guidebook
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, Word, Excel, Access, Project Management, and Power Point
  • IT-III Non-Sensitive security clearance or Tier 1 (T1) at time of proposal submission
  • Experience in a government or defense-related environment is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and version control systems
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
