About the Role

The Business Development, Enterprise role at Fivetran is a critical position that will drive the company's growth in the EMEA region. As a key member of the sales team, you will work closely with account executives, marketing, and partner teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts, understanding their business needs, and positioning Fivetran's solutions to address those needs.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the enterprise software market, a strong network of contacts, and a proven track record of success in business development. You will be responsible for outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and working with the sales team to close deals. What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth in the EMEA region
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Work closely with account executives, marketing, and partner teams to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities
  • Qualify leads and work with the sales team to close deals
  • Utilize Salesforce, Excel, and other sales tools to manage sales activity, track progress, and analyze results
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge
  • Adhere to sales KPIs and metrics, including outbound calls, meetings, and conversion rates

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the enterprise software market
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth and closing deals
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise software market and the ability to identify business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and other sales tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong network of contacts in the EMEA region
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with data integration or related technologies
  • Knowledge of the EMEA market and its unique challenges and opportunities
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, and Demandbase
  • Certification in sales or a related field
