About the Role

The Business Development & Event Operations Executive role is a key position at MVC Resources, responsible for driving business growth through acquiring and retaining event organizer clients. This role is critical to the company's success, as it requires a deep understanding of the events industry, excellent sales and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network of promoters and a proven track record of success in sales and event management. They will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating with the regional team, and delivering exceptional client experiences. The role involves working closely with the regional team to maximize sales success and ensuring that client needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

What You Will Do

  • Acquire and retain event organizer clients to meet sales targets
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions
  • Coordinate with the regional team to maximize sales success and deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Manage client relationships, including onboarding, content creation, and communication
  • Supervise on-site event operations to ensure successful delivery of products and services
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to meet specific event needs
  • Manage ticket buyer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist the regional team in developing sales and marketing strategies for customer acquisition
  • Undertake other tasks and assignments as required by the company

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in management, communications, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the events industry
  • Strong network of promoters and a proven track record of success in sales and event management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and sales skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and think creatively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and the local language
  • Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
