About the Role
The Business Development Executive role at BSI is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in business improvement and standards. As a key member of the medical devices team in South Korea, you will work closely with Business Development Managers to drive growth and expand the company's presence in the market. This home-based role requires frequent travel, offering a unique chance to experience different parts of the country while developing your professional network. - Support Business Development Managers in preparing offers and arranging customer meetings
- Accurately record information in Salesforce to ensure seamless communication and follow-up
- Develop and manage relationships with targeted accounts to win new business and maintain existing partnerships
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales performance
- Develop and deliver persuasive presentations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activity
- Participate in sales meetings and conferences to expand professional network and generate leads
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the sales team to convert leads into sales
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, health sciences, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in sales or a technical position in the medical devices industry
- Regulatory affairs experience is an advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and persuasion skills
- Service-minded approach with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Good command of spoken and written Korean and English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Ability to travel frequently for work
