About the Role

The Business Development Manager role at Yell is a key position that drives revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. As a member of the Field Sales team, you will be at the forefront of the company's sales efforts, working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored digital marketing solutions. What You Will Do

  • Proactively prospect for new business opportunities through self-sourced and company-provided leads
  • Engage in face-to-face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and provide tailored digital marketing solutions
  • Present, negotiate, and close deals with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure a seamless customer experience and consistent account management
  • Conduct in-depth reviews to identify opportunities for growth and boost client ROI
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activity to inform sales and marketing efforts
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in digital marketing
  • Utilize data analysis tools to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record of success in sales (Field Sales or High Performing Telesales)
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Resilience and a positive outlook in overcoming objections
  • Excellent presentation skills - both verbal and written
  • Experience in solution selling or SaaS (desirable but not essential)
  • A full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the digital marketing sector
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and Meta campaigns
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software
  • Certification in sales or marketing (e.g. Google Analytics)
