About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Yell Ltd, you will be a key player in driving business growth through strategic sales and account management. You will be working closely with a team of high-performing, customer-centric individuals to achieve shared goals. Your primary focus will be on hunting for new business opportunities, tailoring solutions to meet customer needs, and closing deals to drive revenue growth.The role entails a mix of face-to-face and virtual consultations, data analysis, and client management. You will be responsible for nurturing relationships with existing clients, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and identifying opportunities for growth. Your exceptional presentation skills, both verbal and written, will be essential in presenting and negotiating deals with new and existing clients.

What You Will Do
- Proactively prospect for new business opportunities through self-sourced and company-provided leads
- Engage in face-to-face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and tailor digital marketing solutions
- Present, negotiate, and close deals with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth
- Nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring a seamless customer experience and consistent account management
- Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for growth and boost client ROI
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and industry trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's overall revenue growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve sales strategies and techniques
What We Are Looking For
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in a field sales or high-performing telesales role
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and colleagues alike
- Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions
- Experience in solution selling or SaaS, although not essential, is highly desirable
- A full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement
- Resilience and a positive outlook, with the ability to overcome objections and maintain a high level of motivation
Nice to Have
- Experience working with digital marketing solutions, including Google Ads and social media platforms
- Knowledge of the local business market and the challenges faced by small to medium-sized enterprises
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software, although training will be provided
