About the Role
The Business Development Manager position at People Profilers Vietnam is a pivotal role that involves driving strategic growth and expansion within the fenestration industry in Vietnam. This role is integral to the company's goal of increasing its market presence and customer base. As a Business Development Manager, you will be working closely with the Market & Customer business unit to identify new market opportunities, develop sales strategies, and implement plans to achieve business objectives.Day-to-day, you will be conducting comprehensive market analyses to stay ahead of the competition and identify areas for growth. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining a strong network of sales channels and customer relationships, leveraging these connections to drive sales and meet business targets. Given the nature of the role, a significant amount of time will be dedicated to traveling and meeting with clients and partners across Vietnam.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual with a strong background in sales and market development. The ability to think strategically, combined with excellent negotiation and communication skills, is essential for success in this role.
What You Will Do
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay updated on market trends
- Develop, maintain, and secure a customer base and sales network to achieve business goals
- Provide strategic input for the development of new markets, target groups, and sales channels
- Enforce approved sales and marketing measures to achieve business objectives
- Determine customer needs to initiate new product developments and enhance existing ones
- Systematically review the company's market position and adjust strategies accordingly
- Develop and implement a human resources strategy to achieve budgeted sales goals
- Implement and ensure sustainable reporting within existing Customer Experience Management (CEM) modules
- Create continuous reporting of agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for review by superiors
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives and product developments
- Analyze sales data to forecast future sales trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a related field, or successfully completed technical or commercial training
- Experiences in sales and market developments with a good technical understanding
- Familiarity with the market dynamics in Vietnam
- Solid understanding of MS Office (mandatory) and familiarity with SAP (a plus)
- Strong negotiating skills and a structured approach combined with a friendly and competent appearance
- Entrepreneurial thinking and behavior, with an independent, solution- and goal-oriented way of working
- High willingness to travel across Vietnam for client meetings and market research
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding customer bases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the fenestration industry or a related field
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and their application in sales growth
- Fluency in more than one language, with English being mandatory
- Previous experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
