About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Magic, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through the acquisition of new clients. Your day-to-day will involve managing the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing and onboarding. You will be working closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and with the operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients. Magic is a modern outsourcing platform that connects small and medium-sized businesses with high-quality remote workers. With a strong presence in Silicon Valley and backing from top venture capitalists, Magic is well-positioned for continued growth and success. As a BDM, you will play a critical role in driving this growth and expanding Magic's client base. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility. You will be expected to be proactive, results-driven, and able to work effectively in a remote setting.What You Will Do
- Own the full sales cycle from inbound discovery to follow-up, closing, and successful onboarding
- Run 15+ discovery calls per week with C-level and Director-level prospects
- Uncover pain points and establish urgency with potential clients
- Position Magic's products and services to meet the needs of potential clients
- Treat every lead like a win waiting to happen, working 'not now' leads with discipline and creativity
- Work every deal to completion, following up persistently and updating next steps as needed
- Collaborate with sales, support, and operations teams to ensure clients start strong and are set up for long-term success
- Continuously learn and improve, seeking feedback and applying it quickly
- Stay consistent, stay hungry, and show up with energy, drive, and a mindset that every day is an opportunity to win
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a high-volume inbound environment
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of GTM and sales cycle management
- Experience with HubSpot, Adjust, and Excel
- Consultative, relationship-first sales approach
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Experience working with AI technology and outsourcing services
- Knowledge of the SMB and mid-market landscape
- Familiarity with sales enablement tools and platforms
