## About the Role The Business Development Manager position at Group-IB is a critical component of the company's European Sales Team, specifically targeting the Italian market. This role is essential for generating new business opportunities and promoting Group-IB's comprehensive cybersecurity solutions across Italy. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for deep-diving into the industry to advance their career in cybersecurity sales and deliver Group-IB's cutting-edge solutions.

The role entails developing and managing existing customer accounts in Italy, as well as aggressively hunting for new business opportunities. This involves working closely with the Sales Teams, Partner Channel, and Marketing teams on lead management, executing targeted campaigns, and developing the commercial business in the assigned territory. The ability to work collaboratively and maintain an accurate overview and forecasts of the business is crucial.

Group-IB's commitment to combating cybercrime is reflected in its technological capabilities and the work of its Digital Crime Resistance Centers (DCRCs) located globally. As part of this team, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening Group-IB's contribution to global cybercrime prevention and expanding its threat-hunting capabilities.

## What You Will Do - Develop and manage existing customer accounts in Italy to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Hunt for new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, and networking, ensuring a consistent flow of new leads.
  • Support the growth of the right IT channel ecosystem, focusing on partnerships that can aid in the expansion of Group-IB's solutions.
  • Execute campaigns targeting new sales opportunities, leveraging both inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
  • Work in tandem with the Sales, Partner Channel, and Marketing teams to ensure aligned sales strategies and effective lead management.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate overview and forecasts of the business, providing data-driven insights to inform sales decisions.
  • Target, educate, and persuade new customers to adopt Group-IB's cybersecurity solutions, highlighting the value and competitive advantage they offer.
  • Update and maintain client database details within CRM diligently, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with GDPR regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement sales strategies tailored to the Italian market.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging threats to continually refine the sales approach.

  • Good understanding of indirect sales channels and the ability to develop and execute channel strategies.

  • Previous experience in managing and developing sales teams or working in a similar capacity, with a strong focus on cybersecurity sales.
  • Strong passion for cybersecurity and high-tech technologies, with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest industry developments.
  • Fluency in Italian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to sales and business development.

  • Knowledge of the Italian cybersecurity market, including key players, trends, and regulatory requirements.
