About the Role

Vilgain, a premium European nutrition brand, is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead its entry into the Italian market. This is a high-impact, autonomous role with the potential to scale into a senior leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure high-value partnerships across primary Italian B2B pillars: Retail, Distributors, E-commerce, or HORECA
  • Adapt the Vilgain value proposition for the Italian market, ensuring premium branding resonates with local distributors and professionals
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Italian market and global HQ, providing data-driven insights on competitor landscape, pricing elasticity, and consumer trends
  • Manage the full commercial cycle, consistently meeting and exceeding strategic growth targets

Requirements

  • Proven FMCG expertise in the Food & Beverage industry
  • Extensive experience navigating the Italian business landscape, with a deep understanding of local commercial practices and existing networks
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate independently
  • Professional fluency in both Italian and English
