About the Role
The Business Development Manager position at Sealogy GmbH is a unique opportunity to join a dynamically growing company that specializes in insuring high-quality sailing and motor yachts. Since 1999, Sealogy has established itself as a leading solution provider worldwide, working closely with a network of strong partners including yacht managers, boat dealers, insurance brokers, and shipyards. This role is crucial in building win-win partnerships with the international yachting industry, identifying and approaching potential partners, and representing Sealogy at national and international yacht shows and events.As a Business Development Manager, you will be part of a thirty-member team that is customer-focused and highly motivated. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and executing business strategies to expand Sealogy's presence in the global yachting market. You will work closely with the existing team to onboard and train newly acquired partners, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed. Your ability to communicate effectively and professionally will be key in managing existing partnerships and identifying new opportunities for growth.

What You Will Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure their continued success and growth.
- Identify and approach new potential partners through various channels, including industry events and digital platforms.
- Develop and implement targeted business development strategies to expand Sealogy's partner network.
- Onboard and train new partners, providing them with the necessary tools and support to successfully promote Sealogy's insurance solutions.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing partners, providing feedback and support to improve their success.
- Represent Sealogy at national and international yacht shows and events, promoting the company's insurance solutions and building brand awareness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, using this knowledge to inform business development strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support partner acquisition and retention.
- Manage and resolve any issues that may arise with partners, ensuring that relationships remain strong and positive.
- Contribute to the development of new insurance products and services that meet the evolving needs of the yachting industry.
What We Are Looking For
- A successfully completed degree or vocational training in a relevant field, such as business development, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in the international yachting industry, with a proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with additional languages being an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with partners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret industry data and trends.
- Experience with digital platforms and tools, including CRM systems and marketing software.
- A passion for the yachting industry and a deep understanding of its needs and challenges.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
