Job Description

About the Role

Sensize is seeking highly motivated Business Development Managers to join its growing sales team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strong relationships with clients. Your primary focus will be on building a robust sales pipeline, leveraging your expertise in HubSpot and Excel to analyze data, identify trends, and optimize sales strategies. You will work closely with the Commercial Director and the wider sales team to progress deals, negotiate contracts, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and research potential customers across key European markets, mapping decision-makers and developing tailored outreach strategies
  • Create outreach lists across selected verticals, building and maintaining a healthy top-of-funnel pipeline
  • Initiate high-volume outbound conversations via cold calling, emailing, and leveraging LinkedIn to reach potential customers
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer needs, booking meetings and conducting demos as required
  • Support proposal development and commercial discussions, participating in negotiations and helping progress deals through to close
  • Attend major trade shows across Europe and the US, supporting the commercial team on stand and gathering leads, insights, and market intelligence
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and outbound sequences, sharing customer and competitor insights to refine messaging
  • Maintain accurate data in HubSpot, providing weekly pipeline updates and forecasts, and collaborating with marketing on targeted outreach and campaigns
  • Participate in weekly sales reviews, contributing ideas and sharing market intelligence and customer feedback internally

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a technology or supply chain-related industry
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions
  • Experience with CRM software and sales pipeline management
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with asset tracking technology or supply chain management software
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, or retail industries
  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a degree in business or marketing
  • Experience with data analysis tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
