About the Role
The Business Development Representative role at Artis Energy Solutions is a unique opportunity to work with commercial customers across New England, helping them reduce energy use, improve efficiency, and lower costs. As a key member of the team, you will serve as a point of contact for customers, answering questions about services and energy programs, and ensuring each customer has a clear understanding of the process. Your day-to-day tasks will involve customer service, support, and outreach to prospective customers.The role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for documenting all interactions with customers in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. What You Will Do
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to small commercial clients across New England
- Answer questions about services and available energy programs
- Assist with scheduling free building assessments
- Perform outbound calling and email outreach to prospective customers
- Document all customer interactions in Salesforce
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in energy efficiency
- Meet or exceed performance targets, including booked appointments and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Artis Energy Solutions' services and energy programs
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree or license in a skilled trade preferred
- Strong phone and cold calling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check
