About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at CrowdRiff, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding the company's customer base. You will work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to pursue them. With a focus on the travel industry, you will have the chance to work with exciting, international brands and help them leverage user-generated visuals to drive their marketing efforts.The role entails working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. You will be expected to be highly organized, have a positive attitude, and a fun sense of humor. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing top-of-funnel sales activities, attending online industry trade shows and conferences, and representing the CrowdRiff brand.
What You Will Do
- Work with exciting, international brands to help them leverage user-generated visuals and drive their marketing efforts
- Qualify inbound leads and create new opportunities for Account Executives
- Prospect outbound leads and manage top-of-funnel sales activities
- Attend online industry trade shows and conferences to meet customers and prospects
- Represent the CrowdRiff brand and offering, and educate prospective partners on best practices
- Report on daily/weekly outbound activities, and present wins and losses
- Manage and monitor your work using technologies like Salesforce, Outreach, and HubSpot
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Customer Success teams to align sales efforts and drive growth
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the travel industry and CrowdRiff's visual marketing platform
What We Are Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in top-of-funnel inbound and outbound sales
- Passion for the travel industry and experience working in a startup, SaaS company, or the tourism industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and a fun sense of humor
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
