About the Role

Docker is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join its global sales team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, developing prospecting strategies, and driving growth in commercial and enterprise-level accounts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What You Will Do

  • Utilize prospecting strategies to identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Docker's products and services
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Schedule discovery meetings and demos to showcase Docker's solutions
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads
  • Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries regarding interest in Docker products
  • Craft and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to improve sales strategies and materials
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies

What We Are Looking For

  • 1+ year of experience in a sales role, preferably in the tech industry
  • Proficiency in English, with additional languages (German, French, Spanish) being a plus
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with enterprise-level accounts and complex sales cycles
  • Knowledge of the developer tooling industry and Docker's products and services
  • Certification in sales or a related field (e.g., HubSpot Sales Certification)
  • Experience with prospecting tools and technologies (e.g., ZoomInfo, Outreach)
