About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at ShopMy, you will be an integral part of the company's high-performing sales team. Your primary objective will be to hunt for prospective clients, acting as the first point of contact and representing ShopMy with professionalism and commercial acumen. This is a unique and fulfilling opportunity that will make a significant impact on ShopMy's growth trajectory. What You Will Do
- Generate outbound qualified opportunities each month, hitting or exceeding your quota
- Manage inbound pipeline, ensuring prompt follow-up and qualification of leads
- Document, assess, and communicate detailed notes on prospects, using HubSpot CRM to set Account Executives up for successful demos
- Conduct creative research and targeting strategy, working with the Brand Growth team to identify accounts and plan territory assignments
- Execute extensive prospect research within focused industry verticals to identify potential clients
- Maintain excellent execution of HubSpot CRM data management, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine sales strategies, sharing best practices and insights
- Stay organized and efficient in your follow-up and pipeline management, leveraging tools and technology to streamline processes
- Continuously update your knowledge of the sales process, industry trends, and competitor activity to stay ahead in the market
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ShopMy's products and services, enabling you to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients
- Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and other events to expand your network and identify new business opportunities
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales
- 1-2 years of outbound sales and lead generation experience in the B2B industry
- Eloquent and self-confident written and verbal communicator, comfortable speaking with C-level contacts
- Creative problem solver who thrives in figuring out how to get in front of new business and leads
- Excellent executor with a proven track record of hitting deadlines, taking copious notes, and acting on team needs
- Interest in a sales career with an early-stage startup, demonstrating adaptability and a growth mindset
- Strong understanding of the sales process, with experience in managing pipelines and converting leads into sales
- Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive issues to closure, with a results-oriented approach
- Team-first mentality, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues to achieve shared goals
Nice to Have
- Enterprise/SaaS/Cloud industry experience, with a deep understanding of the technology and software sales landscape
- Strong understanding of the influencer marketing space, including the role of creators in driving brand awareness and sales
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform sales strategies
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and practices, including social media, content marketing, and paid advertising
