What You Will Do
- Conduct outbound prospecting initiatives to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to engage with potential clients
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine sales materials and messaging
- Utilize Salesforce to track and manage sales activities, leads, and pipeline growth
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
- Participate in sales team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Gitlab's products and services
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, research, and referrals
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in generating new business leads and driving revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the tech industry, including trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce, and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

- Experience working in the software or tech industry
- Familiarity with sales and marketing automation tools, such as Adjust
- Knowledge of sales methodologies, such as SPIN or Challenger selling
- Certification in sales, marketing, or a related field, such as HubSpot or Salesforce
