About the Role

The Business Development Representative position at Spark Advisors represents a unique opportunity to join a talent-dense team that is committed to transforming the healthcare landscape. As the first-ever BDR, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the company's top-of-funnel motion, working closely with Revenue Operations and Demand Generation. As a key member of the team, you will sit at the intersection of Sales, RevOps, and Marketing, driving growth through outbound, inbound follow-up, and campaign-driven prospecting. What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and scale the top-of-funnel motion, in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential clients, leveraging digital skills to navigate complex healthcare landscapes.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to design and implement campaign-driven initiatives that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations to ensure seamless handoffs and maximize sales potential.
  • Manage and prioritize a high-volume pipeline of prospects, utilizing CRM tools to track progress and inform strategy.
  • Analyze sales metrics and performance data to refine the sales strategy and improve outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity, applying insights to enhance the sales approach.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly the Medicare landscape and the role of independent advisors.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the healthcare or tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including Medicare and the challenges faced by independent advisors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Experience with digital sales strategies and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field.
