About the Role
The Business Development Representative role at Pandektes is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a legal tech revolution. This position entails being the first point of contact for new customers, owning the full top-of-funnel process including prospecting, outreach, and booking high-quality meetings. What You Will Do
- Research, generate, and acquire new leads to fuel the sales pipeline
- Book high-quality meetings with potential customers from law firms to private and public institutions
- Understand the needs of potential customers and clearly position Pandektes' value proposition
- Find creative ways to reach new prospects and continuously test what works
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives for smooth handoffs and consistent communication
- Keep the pipeline accurate and up-to-date in HubSpot
- Act as a feedback loop between customers, Customer Success, and Product to drive platform improvements
- Present solutions that genuinely resonate with legal professionals
- Manage multiple conversations and priorities at once, ensuring strong organizational skills
- Stay updated on legal knowledge, supported by in-house lawyers, to effectively communicate with legal professionals
What We Are Looking For
- Some sales experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment and/or a background in the legal space
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building skills
- Initiative and creativity when it comes to outreach and finding new ways to prospect
- A proactive, self-starting mindset that thrives in a collaborative team
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple conversations and priorities at once
- Ability to present solutions that genuinely resonate with legal professionals
- Fluency in English
- Ability to learn quickly, especially about legal knowledge and AI/LLM basics
Nice to Have
- Background in legal or a law degree
- Interest in technology and enthusiasm for AI
- Basic knowledge of AI and LLMs
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
- Prior experience in a fast-growing, scale-up environment
