About the Role

The Business Immigration Paralegal LATAM role at HireHawk is a pivotal position that requires managing complex employment-based immigration cases for clients. As a key member of the team, you will work independently to ensure accurate and timely service. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve handling a high-volume caseload, preparing and filing non-immigrant petitions, and supporting immigrant processes.

The role matters because it directly impacts the ability of companies to hire and retain top talent from around the world. Your expertise will help facilitate the process, ensuring that all necessary documentation and filings are completed efficiently.

You will be part of a remote team that values professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Your reporting structure will be directly tied to the success of your caseload management and client satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and file non-immigrant petitions, including H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 matters
  • Support immigrant processes, including PERM, I-140 (EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2, EB-3), I-485, and EB-2 NIW
  • Draft strong, compliant support letters for O-1 and L-1A filings
  • Draft basic letters for H-1B filings and simple RFE responses
  • Prepare detailed responses for complex RFEs, NOIDs, and PERM audit responses
  • Maintain tight case tracking, calendars, and internal documentation
  • Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders in professional, clear written and verbal English (and Spanish when needed)
  • Provide proactive updates and flag risks early to keep cases moving
  • Ensure drafting and client-facing communication are human-written and professionally polished

What We Are Looking For

  • 2-3+ years of direct business (employment-based) immigration paralegal experience
  • Hands-on experience preparing and supporting filings for H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3
  • Experience with PERM, I-140 (EB categories), and I-485 case support
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong legal drafting skills, including support letters and detailed responses to RFEs/NOIDs/PERM audits
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for client-facing work
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and deadline management skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with EB-2 NIW drafting support and evidence organization
  • Experience with complex O-1 case strategy support
  • Familiarity with common immigration case management systems and high-discipline tracking practices
