What You Will Do
- Gather requirements and define scope for projects of varying sizes and complexity
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Excel, SQL, and other tools
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into business strategies
- Develop and maintain documentation of data sources, workflows, and business processes
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, and implement data governance and stewardship practices
- Educate stakeholders on data literacy concepts and best practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation of data models, architectures, and workflows
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Experience with data governance and stewardship practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics
- Experience with Epic EHR Clarity Database and Tableau is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or predictive analytics
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
- Certification in data science, business intelligence, or a related field
