About the Role
The Business Intelligence Analyst Sr role at MAPFRE is a critical position that involves transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights through automated dashboards and reporting solutions. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement scalable data reporting frameworks and BI tools that enable consistency and efficiency across the organization. You will be responsible for developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, querying and preparing data from Snowflake using SQL, and communicating complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences. What You Will Do
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, applying best practices in data visualization and design principles
- Query and prepare data from Snowflake using SQL for visualization purposes
- Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data reporting frameworks and BI tools that enable consistency and scalability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable solutions
- Support automation of reporting workflows using Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Airflow
- Document visualization standards and best practices for maintainability and scalability
- Develop automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 6-8 years of experience in Power BI, analytics, and data visualization
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools, such as Power BI and Tableau
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying, analysis, visualization, and automation
- Skilled in developing automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting
- Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing technologies
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in insurance, underwriting, claims, or actuarial domains is a plus
