About the Role

The Business Manager role at Connoisseur Media is a key position that supports the operational and financial functions of the company. As a detail-oriented and organized professional, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and management tasks across the Accounting, Traffic, and HR departments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the business, and your ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines will be essential.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare Monthly Sound Exchange Reports
  • Manage Daily Cash and Credit Card Deposits
  • Create Daily money needed list for the Sales Department
  • Generate Weekly Pacing and AE Report Card reports
  • Perform Human Resources duties, including payroll processing and talent reporting
  • Order Supplies for all Departments
  • Complete the month-end close, including GL account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Review, code, and approve vendor invoices
  • Handle collections on past due accounts and weekly/monthly invoicing
  • Prepare Monthly Statement Processing and trade agreement reconciliation
  • Assist with job fair scheduling and recap
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • Accounting experience, preferably in a media or broadcasting environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, and G-Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing people and teams
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressures and deadlines
  • Proficient in accounts receivable and collection calls
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Wide Orbit, Marketron, and NetSuite
  • Previous radio or media experience
  • Bilingual skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and advertising
