About the Role
The Business Process Consultant for Hardware Asset Management plays a critical role in optimizing the lifecycle of hardware assets, from procurement to disposal. This involves working closely with internal stakeholders and clients to design and implement scalable operational processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise hardware asset management, as well as experience with the ServiceNow platform.As a trusted advisor, the Business Process Consultant will provide expert guidance on hardware asset lifecycle management, process optimization, governance, and operational maturity. This will involve analyzing hardware inventory and lifecycle data to identify control gaps and process inefficiencies, and developing strategies to address these issues. The role will also require collaboration with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure accurate asset records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be comfortable working with data and will have experience with reporting tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
What You Will Do
- Manage and maintain hardware asset records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Track hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal
- Partner with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure
- Analyze hardware inventory and lifecycle data to identify control gaps and process inefficiencies
- Develop and implement strategies to address identified issues and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to design and implement scalable operational processes
- Provide expert guidance on hardware asset lifecycle management, process optimization, governance, and operational maturity
- Work closely with the ServiceNow team to ensure accurate asset records and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve processes and operations
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in hardware asset management, IT asset management, inventory management, or related asset lifecycle functions
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with ServiceNow, preferably within HAM, CMDB, or ITAM modules
- Experience managing enterprise hardware assets across the full lifecycle
- Understanding of hardware asset lifecycle processes and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and develop insights
- Experience gathering business requirements and supporting process improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with business process consulting, particularly in the context of hardware asset management
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Certification in ServiceNow or related platforms
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
