## About the Role As a Business Systems Analyst II at Affirm, you will play a critical role in driving the company's top-line growth by transforming business processes and delivering technical solutions. You will be an integral part of the Business Systems team within the Revenue Organization, working closely with key stakeholders to identify and address business needs. Your expertise in Salesforce, Excel, and project management will be essential in leading high-impact projects from inception to completion.
The Revenue team at Affirm is responsible for driving growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution. As a Business Systems Analyst II, you will be at the forefront of this effort, working to optimize business processes, streamline operations, and deliver scalable solutions. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's ability to acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships, ultimately driving long-term business growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business systems, with a focus on the commerce-to-cash process. ## What You Will Do - Develop requirements to automate and scale core processes, translating needs into user stories and process flows - Lead discovery to identify gaps and opportunities, working closely with key stakeholders to define project scope and objectives - Own end-to-end requirements lifecycle, from intake through delivery and post-launch validation - Gather and report data on key projects using tools such as Salesforce, IronClad, and Snowflake to support critical, data-driven decisions - Oversee program deliverables, defining scope and managing expectations for successful product migrations - Lead and execute billing systems initiatives to support diverse product and pricing strategies - Establish and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, acting as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for the Business Systems team - Leverage project management tools (e.g., Jira, Notion) to deliver timely updates on internal projects, product launches, and roadmap progress - Analyze and optimize business processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and deliver scalable, system-driven solutions - Support product launch preparations by engaging in system testing and documentation to ensure thorough enablement readiness - Document workflows and process enhancements related to quoting, billing, and provisioning systems
## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of experience with business systems, with a focus on the commerce-to-cash process - Strong background in Salesforce, with expertise in configuration, customization, and integration - Proficiency in Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting - Exceptional project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving results - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels - Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Notion) and data analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake) - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines - Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions
## Nice to Have - Experience with IronClad and other contract management tools - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and iterative project planning - Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and experience in creating dashboards and reports - Certification in Salesforce administration or development
