About the Role
The Business Systems Analyst II role at Affirm is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and collaboration skills. As a key member of the Business Systems team within the Revenue Organization, you will be responsible for leading high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring that each initiative aligns with the company's strategic goals and delivers measurable results. The Revenue team drives Affirm's top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution, and your technical leadership will be a key enabler of that growth.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Salesforce ecosystem, project management, exceptional communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all activities are executed flawlessly and efficiently. You will collaborate with the rest of the Business Systems team and key stakeholders to craft and deliver technical solutions to business problems, transforming the way Revenue colleagues thrive.
What You Will Do
- Develop requirements to automate and scale core processes, translating needs into user stories and process flows, and leading discovery to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle from intake through delivery and post-launch validation.
- Gather and report data on key projects using tools such as Salesforce, IronClad, and Snowflake to support critical, data-driven decisions across cross-functional initiatives.
- Oversee program deliverables, define scope, and manage expectations for successful product migrations.
- Lead and execute billing systems initiatives to support diverse product and pricing strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, IT, Engineering, and Product Development, acting as the primary Point of Contact for the Business Systems team.
- Leverage project management tools, such as Jira and Notion, to deliver timely updates on internal projects, product launches, and roadmap progress.
- Analyze and optimize business processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and deliver scalable, system-driven solutions.
- Support product launch preparations by engaging in system testing and documentation to ensure thorough enablement readiness.
- Document workflows and process enhancements related to quoting, billing, and provisioning systems.
- Demonstrate adaptability and influence by learning and collaborating effectively within a remote working environment.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience with business systems, with a focus on the commerce-to-cash process.
- Strong background in the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Notion, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to drive process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Snowflake.
Nice to Have
- Experience with business process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
