Job Description

About the Role

The Business Transformation Lead at Expion Health will be responsible for driving the company's AI transformation strategy, working closely with department leaders to identify opportunities for AI implementation and developing tailored solutions to meet their needs. This role will be the architect and driver of Expion Health's AI transformation, working to embed AI into every aspect of the company's operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business transformation, change management, and AI implementation, with experience in developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth.

As a key member of the Expion Health team, the Business Transformation Lead will report directly to the President, Service & Growth, and will be responsible for leading the company's AI Champions program, partnering with executive leadership to prioritize AI initiatives, and tracking progress against transformation milestones.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive transformation and change within an organization. They will be a strong communicator with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and earn trust on the front line, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and uncertainty.

What You Will Do

  • Own the AI transformation roadmap end-to-end, from strategy to execution
  • Run discovery sessions with department leaders to surface high-impact AI opportunities
  • Design and lead the AI Champions program, recruiting, training, and developing a network of department-level AI advocates
  • Build and deliver role-based AI learning pathways tailored to the specific needs of each department
  • Partner with the executive team to ensure AI initiatives are prioritized, resourced, and connected to business outcomes
  • Coordinate with IT and AI Solutions Builders on initiatives that grow beyond departmental scope into broader technical implementations
  • Track and communicate progress against transformation milestones
  • Champion a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement around AI
  • Develop internal AI literacy programs and educational resources to meet people where they are, regardless of technical background
  • Stay ahead of the AI landscape, tools, techniques, and best practices, and bring relevant insights back to the organization

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in business transformation, change management, operations leadership, or strategic consulting
  • Proven ability to sit with a department leader, understand their world, and identify where AI can genuinely help
  • Experience designing and facilitating training programs or capability-building initiatives for non-technical audiences
  • Fluency in modern AI tools, including LLMs and no-code automation platforms
  • Strong communicator with the presence and credibility to influence executive stakeholders and earn trust on the front line
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and uncertainty
  • Ability to think strategically and drive transformation and change within an organization

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Knowledge of the pharmacy economics industry or a related field
  • Certification in AI, machine learning, or a related field
